Fred Mawer reports on The Land of Make-Believe - Best Avoided
Posted On 12.04.07
Tackling Orlando with very young children: As well as the long flight, you’ll have to contend with queuing and lots of walking in the theme parks, maybe in sapping heat, and the parks’ most thrilling rides have height restrictions. Taking all this into account, I’d wait at least until the children are of school age.

The second-rate attractions around International Drive, and Orlando’s many dinner shows – save your money and energy for the theme parks.

Clearwater: One of the most popular post-Orlando beach resorts with Brits is undergoing a major revamp, so presently much of it is currently a building site.
