Which Airport? There are two airports, Tenerife North and Tenerife South. Be clear about which one is yours – or you may end up missing your flight home. Your Travel Counsellor will advise you.
Winter chills Despite the ‘winter sun’ image, temperatures are not that high – usually the low 20s C (around 70F) – and you may find that swimwear gets chilly, unless you find a corner out of the wind.
Getting Around You don’t have to hire a car. The local Titsa bus services are excellent, even to remote areas, with timetables available from tourist offices
Cash Forget about changing all your money to euros or bringing traveller’s cheques. Even the remotest village has a cashpoint machine.
